Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 7th, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to lawdience.com, to the campaign websites and forms we operate, and to information we receive from advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn when you submit a form there.

Where a law firm is named on an advertisement or page, that firm is the party you are asking to contact you. Lawdience acts as the firm's service provider for collecting and delivering your submission, and that firm's own privacy policy also applies once your information reaches it.

2. Information we collect

Information you submit. Name, email address, phone number, and the answers you give to screening questions, for example your state, your employer, the product you purchased, or the dates involved.

Information from advertising platforms. When you submit a form directly on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, the platform sends the information you entered in that form, under those platforms' terms.

Information collected automatically. IP address, approximate location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, pages viewed, and the time and length of your visit, collected through cookies and similar technologies on our websites. We use analytics services to understand how our pages are used.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information on our forms. Please do not include such information in free-text answers.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver your submission to the law firm named on the advertisement or page, so that firm can evaluate and respond to your request.
  • To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share information with

  • The law firm named on the advertisement or page. This is the purpose of your submission. The firm receives your contact details and the form details.
  • Service providers that help us operate.
  • Advertising platforms. Meta and LinkedIn hold the form data you submitted on their platforms under their own policies, in addition to sending it to us.
  • Business transfers. If Lawdience is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. How to request deletion of your information

You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time.

  1. Email privacy@lawdience.com with the subject line "Delete my information", or use the contact form on lawdience.com.
  2. Tell us the name, email address and phone number you used on the form, and, if you remember it, the advertisement or campaign you responded to, so we can find your record.

Deleting your information with Lawdience does not delete it from the law firm you contacted or from Meta or LinkedIn. We will tell you how to reach the firm, and you can manage your Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn data in those services' settings.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of certain uses. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may exercise these rights by contacting us as described in section 5. We will not treat you differently for exercising them. You may also designate an authorized agent to act for you; we will ask the agent to show your written permission.

7. Consent to be contacted

By submitting any form through this website, whether directly or via a third-party platform, you expressly consent—via electronic signature—to receive communications from this website and its partner companies or agents, which may include calls, texts, or emails using automated systems, artificial or pre-recorded messages, at the contact information you provide (including mobile numbers and even if registered on any Do Not Call list). Carrier message and data rates may apply. Your consent is not required as a condition of receiving services and may be revoked at any time. By providing your information, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy and our Legal Disclaimer.

To revoke consent, reply STOP to any text message, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or contact us as described in section 5.

Text messages. If you agree to receive text messages from us, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies for security, to remember your form progress, and to measure how our pages and advertisements perform. Advertising platforms may set cookies or pixels on our pages to measure campaign results. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and logging, to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Our websites and campaigns are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already submitted, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
