Terms of Service

Effective date: 10/08/2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Lawdience LLC ("Lawdience", "we", "us"). They cover your use of:

  • lawdience.com;
  • the campaign websites and forms we operate;
  • the Lawdience platform, including the firm portal and connected tools (together, the "Services").

By using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services for an organization, such as a law firm, you agree for that organization and confirm you have authority to do so.

2. Lawdience is not a law firm

  • Lawdience is a marketing and technology company. We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice or legal services.
  • When an advertisement, page or form names a law firm, that firm is the party you are asking to review your situation and contact you.
  • Submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship with Lawdience or with any law firm, and it does not mean a firm will take your matter.
  • An attorney-client relationship is formed only if a law firm agrees to represent you, usually in a signed agreement with that firm.

3. Using our campaign websites and forms

When you submit a form, you agree that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and is your own (or that of a person you are legally authorized to act for);
  • we may deliver it to the law firm named on the advertisement or page, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

  • submit false or someone else's information;
  • interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services;
  • use automated means to submit forms or collect data;
  • use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

Results described in any advertisement depend on the facts of each matter. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

4. Electronic communications and signatures

  • Consent to communications: where you agree on a form to be contacted, you consent to receive communications as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke that consent as described there.
  • Electronic signatures: where a law firm asks you to review or sign a document electronically through our Services, the document and the consent to use electronic records are presented on that screen, and your electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten one where the law allows. You can ask the firm for a paper copy.

5. Accounts for law firms and other business users

  • Accounts: firm users access the Services through accounts we approve. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@lawdience.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • Confidentiality of lead data: you may use the lead information delivered to you only to evaluate and respond to the person's request, and as permitted by law and your professional obligations. You will not resell it or share it with other parties.
  • Separate agreements: your engagement with Lawdience (campaign scope, fees and billing) is governed by our separate agreement or written terms with you. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls.

6. Connected services

  • The Services may connect to third-party services, such as accounting software (for example QuickBooks Online), email providers and advertising platforms, when you or we authorize it.
  • Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We access a connected service only to provide the features you authorized, and you can disconnect it at any time from the Services' settings, or by revoking access in the third-party service.
  • We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Software license

  • Grant: subject to these Terms, Lawdience grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purpose.
  • Restrictions: you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the Services, except as the law expressly permits.
  • Ownership: we own the Services and all related intellectual property.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that:

  • the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • any submission will be accepted by a law firm;
  • any legal outcome will occur.

9. Limitation of liability

  • Excluded damages: to the fullest extent the law allows, Lawdience will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill.
  • Cap: our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Non-waivable rights: nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

If you are a business user, you will defend and indemnify Lawdience against third-party claims arising from your use of lead information or the Services in violation of these Terms or the law.

11. Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend or end access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Services or others.
  • You may stop using the Services at any time.
  • Sections 2, 5 (confidentiality), 7 (ownership), 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
  • The state and federal courts located in New York have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

13. Changes and contact

  • Changes: we may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. If a change is material for business users, we will give reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
